How do you know what size is a standard shower curtain? It can be difficult to measure a shower curtain in a bathroom without a measuring tape. However, there are many measurements that you can take to figure out what size is a standard shower curtain.

The first thing you should do is measure the width of the door of the shower enclosure. The measurement should be made from the door to the edge of the room. If you cannot measure this from the edge of the room then it is important to bring along a measuring tape. It is recommended that you measure the door to be sure that you have an accurate measurement.

After you have determined the width you want for your shower, you will need to determine the length of the curtain. Measure from the point where the door ends at the ceiling to the widest point of the panel. This is the measurement that you need to know when you measure the length of the curtain.

If you have a double door enclosure then measure the width from the top of the door to the bottom of the doorway. A normal sized door would be approximately 26 inches wide. Then divide the width by two. Then you have the length that you should use for the width of the curtain.

Next measure the length from the top of the door to the bottom of the door. If you have a standard size shower curtain then you should have no problem figuring out how many inches is needed. If you do not have a standard size shower curtain then you should bring along a measuring tape.

Now you can determine the standard length of the curtain. Divide the measurement that you found above by two. This is the measurement that you should use to determine the length of the curtain.

You should now have the length of the curtain that you need for the measurement. You should now be able to figure out the width and the height.

The easiest way to determine the height of a standard shower curtain is to measure the width and the length and then divide them by two. Then measure the distance between the middle of the panel and the ceiling. There should be approximately six inches between the middle of the panel and the ceiling.

Using the six inch measurement to determine the width of a standard shower curtain you can use this as the length measurement. Finally, divide the length by the width to get the measurement. Then you can use this to determine the height of the curtain.

There are other ways to figure out the size of a standard shower curtain. One is to use a tape measure and stand on the edge of the shower door and then stand two feet from the edge of the door. It is recommended that you try out the measurements and only stand a few feet from the edge before determining the size.

The next way is to measure the length of the curtain and then use the standard size rule to find the width. You can also find the width by using the rule above to figure out the length and then divide that by two.

Knowing what size is a standard shower curtain can make it easier to figure out the size of the shower. With this information you can easily determine whether or not you need a shower curtain tarp and curtain rod.
